Troubleshooting: Ensuring Your Arkfeld Flashlight is Not in Lock Mode Before Requesting a Replacement

We understand that occasionally, you may encounter what appears to be charging issues with your Arkfeld flashlight. Before proceeding with a request for a replacement, we would like to bring to your attention an important feature of your device – the Lock Mode.

 

Understanding the Lock Mode Feature:

The Lock Mode is designed to prevent your Arkfeld from turning on unintentionally, for instance, while in your pocket or backpack. This feature is activated by simply holding down the side switch for 2 seconds. Once in Lock Mode, the flashlight will display one bar of red light to indicate that it is securely locked.

Here’s how you can quickly check if your Arkfeld is in Lock Mode:

1.Find the side switch on your Arkfeld flashlight.
2.Press and hold the side switch for 2 seconds.
3.If the flashlight displays a red light, it is in Lock Mode.
4.To deactivate Lock Mode, press and hold the side switch again for 2 seconds until the red light turns off.


Battery Charging Concerns:

At times, the Lock Mode might be mistaken for a low battery charge or an unsuccessful charging attempt. To ensure that this is not the case with your flashlight, please follow the steps above to check if your Arkfeld is in Lock Mode.
